Cassie Nightingale and her family receive a visit from Abigail, a mysterious young woman who claims to be Cassie’s cousin after discovering her name on a family tree website. Embittered for not having a relationship with Cassie when she was young, Abigail attempts to divide the family and the town over the issue of building a nearby bridge.
